Questions about our flours :
Our flours are made from whole grains.
Moisture can cause mold to develop, so keep flours in a cool, dry and dark space. You can place flours in sealed containers for storage.
Our all-purpose flour is a mixture of brown rice flour, tapioca starch, chickpea flour, rice bran extract and guar gum.
The flours do not need to be refrigerated, but it is still important to store them in a dry place away from sources of moisture.
Our multi-grain bread mix can be made in the oven or a bread machine. However, our home-style and country-style bread mixes should only be used in a bread machine.
Tapioca flour is equivalent to tapioca starch. However, do not confuse potato flour with potato starch. Potato starch only contains the starch from potatoes, while potato flour is produced by grinding whole potatoes. Potato flour is a much coarser product than potato starch.

Our flours have a very long shelf life provided they are kept in a dry place away from sources of moisture. Using them after their best before date is not dangerous, but make sure they show no signs of mold. Test and smell the flour. If it has an unpleasant odour, throw it out immediately.
