  • Cake
  • 2 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 15 ml vanilla
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk
  • Sauce
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 cups maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup water

Preparation

  • Sauce
  • 1. Put all the sauce ingredients in a pot, mix well and bring to a boil over low heat.
  • 2. Once boiling, remove from heat, pour into a measuring cup and set aside.
  • Cake
  • 1. Mix together all-purpose protein flour, baking powder and salt.
  • 2. In a separate bowl, mix together the eggs, vanilla, oil, coconut sugar and milk.
  • 3. Add the liquid ingredient mixture to the dry ingredient mixture.
  • 4. Blend until fluffy.
  • 5. Pour the cake mix into a greased and floured 8X8 pan.
  • 6. Spread evenly.
  • 7. Pour the sauce very gently, letting it run down the side of your dish.
  • 8. Bake for about 40-45 minutes at 350°F.
