Ingredients
- Cake
- 1 1/2 cups Cuisine Soleil all-purpose protein flour
- 2 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 15 ml vanilla
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup plant-based milk
- Sauce
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 2 cups maple syrup
- 3/4 cup water
Preparation
- Sauce
- 1. Put all the sauce ingredients in a pot, mix well and bring to a boil over low heat.
- 2. Once boiling, remove from heat, pour into a measuring cup and set aside.
- Cake
- 1. Mix together all-purpose protein flour, baking powder and salt.
- 2. In a separate bowl, mix together the eggs, vanilla, oil, coconut sugar and milk.
- 3. Add the liquid ingredient mixture to the dry ingredient mixture.
- 4. Blend until fluffy.
- 5. Pour the cake mix into a greased and floured 8X8 pan.
- 6. Spread evenly.
- 7. Pour the sauce very gently, letting it run down the side of your dish.
- 8. Bake for about 40-45 minutes at 350°F.
