
Strawberry Upside-Down Cake

- 1 1/3 cups Cuisine Soleil muffin mix
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup oil
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 30 ml vanilla
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- A pinch of salt
- Strawberries
Preparation
- 1. Mix together the sugar, oil, eggs, milk and vanilla.
- 2. Add the muffin mix and salt to the liquid mixture. Mix well to see a smooth texture.
- 3. Grease and flour the cake pan.
- 4. Cut the strawberries into slices and place them in the bottom of the cake pan to get about 1/2 inch thick.
- 5. Sift the powdered sugar and cornstarch over the strawberries.
- 6. Pour the liquid mixture over the strawberries and spread it well.
- 7. Bake for 40 minutes at 350F.
- 8. Wait until the cake is completely cooled before removing it from the pan.
- 9. Depending on your taste, it is possible to add whipped cream on the cake and serve it with a strawberry coulis.
