Ingredients

  • 10 ml baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 30 ml vanilla
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar or white sugar
  • 1/2 cup lightly pressed brown sugar
  • 125 grams lactose-free butter
  • 1/2 cup plant-based or cow's milk

Preparation

  • 1. Mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • 2. In another bowl, combine the eggs, vanilla, sugar, brown sugar and butter to obtain a slightly foamy texture.
  • 3. Mix the dry ingredients with the liquid ingredients.
  • 4. Add the milk and mix until smooth.
  • 5. Pour into a greased and floured 8 x 8 pan.
  • 6. Bake for 1 hour at 350F.
  • 7. The cake can be unmolded while still warm.
