  • 1. Mix together the all-purpose flour, oats, and salt.
  • 2. In a separate bowl, mix together the margarine, brown sugar and eggs.
  • 3. Next, add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients.
  • 4. In an 8X8 dish, spread about half of the mixture.
  • 5. Press well.
  • 6. In a separate bowl, sprinkle the strawberries with the tapioca starch and mix well.
  • 7. Scatter the strawberries over the mixture.
  • 8. Add the rest of the mixture to the strawberries to cover them well without squeezing them.
  • 9. Bake at 400°F for about 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown
