Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Cuisine Soleil All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup whipping cream (vegetable or cow's)
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Preparation
- 1. Mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder and salt.
- 2. In another bowl, combine the maple syrup, eggs, vanilla, margarine and coconut sugar.
- 3. Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler.
- 4. Mix together the liquid mixture with the melted chocolate.
- 5. Add the dry ingredients to the previously obtained mixture.
- 6. Whip the cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
- 7. Using a spatula, add the whipped cream to the mixture, in a plian pattern.
- 8. Pour into a buttered and floured 5 x 9-inch pan.
- 9. Bake at 375F for 1 hour (Confirm if the center is cooked through. If not, add 5-minute slices of cooking time.)
- 10. Let cool before removing from the pan.
