Chickpea pie (Kalientika)

2 cups of chickpea flour
4 cups of water
1 egg
¼ cups of cooking oil
1 tsp. of salt
Pinch of cumin powder


  1. Preheat the oven at 350 °F
  2. In a bown, slowly mix chickpea flour, egg, water, oil, salt and cumin until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a baking plate and bake for 35 to 60 minutes.
  4. It should look like a custard tart.
