Milk-Free Bread in Bread Machine

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons hemp or flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon guar gum or xanthan gum
  • 1½ cups quinoa flour
  • 1 tablespoon gluten-free baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon bread machine yeast
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 350 ml water
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • 1½ teaspoons rice vinegar

Preparation

  • 1. In another bowl, mix quinoa flour, buckwheat flour, baking powder, hemp or flax seeds, yeast, baking soda, and salt.
  • 2. In a bowl, beat eggs, olive oil, honey, vinegar, and water.
  • 3. Incorporate the wet mixture into the dry mixture.
  • 4. Place the mixture in the bread machine and start the quick bread program.

  • If you choose a delayed program, be sure to dig small wells in the flour to place the yeast, separating them. Carefully close these wells with a little flour to protect the yeast from moisture.
