Description

Made from the fiber obtained after the nut has been pressed to extract its oil, our coconut flour does not have added sugar. It packs a rich texture and a slightly sweet natural aroma.

What is coconut?
Coconut is the fruit of the coconut tree, a member of the palm trees family. It can measure up to 30 cm in diameter and people can use its water, milk, oil and meat !

Nutrition and health
Naturally gluten and cholesterol free, it contains 20% protein and the eight amino acids essential to our body. Despite being naturally sweet, it shows a very low glycemic index (35). It is also extraordinarily rich in fiber!

Origin
Probably originating from the Indo-Malay region, coconut acclimated itself to every tropical country. Despite its ability to easily grow to 20 meters high, the coconut tree is not a tree, but a plant like the banana tree! Formerly called Tenga by native people of these lands, coconut is named “big India nut” by the westerners. The “Coco” term is invented by Portuguese travellers in the 16th century.
