
Apple Upside-Down Cake

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Cuisine Soleil coconut flour
- 1/2 cup Cuisine Soleil oatmeal
- 1tbsp. baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon + 1 tbsp.. tea
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup maple syrup + 3tbsp. at the table
- 1/4 cup oil
- 15ml vanilla
- 1 cup plant-based milk or cow's milk
- 4 apples
Preparation
- 1. Mix together the all-purpose flour, coconut flour, oat flour, baking powder, 1tsp. cinnamon and salt.
- 2. In another bowl, combine 1/2 cup maple syrup, eggs, vanilla, oil and 3/4 cup milk.
- 3. Add the liquid ingredient mixture to the dry ingredient mixture.
- 4. Mix until well combined.
- 5. Set aside.
- 6. Peel the apples and cut into thin slices.
- 7. In an 8" round pan, place the sliced apples so that the entire bottom of the pan is well covered. If not, it is possible to add 1 or 2 more apples.
- 8. Pay the 3c. maple syrup and sprinkle the tsp. of cinnamon over the apples.
- 9. Add the milk balance to the cake mix to give it a more liquid texture.
- 10. Pour the cake mix over the apples and smooth well.
- 11. Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
- 12. Let cool before removing from the pan.
