Homemade Bars with Dried Fruits and Nuts
Ingredients
2 tsp. of gluten-free baking powder
2 eggs
½ cup of sugar
½ tsp. of salt
1 cup of dried fruits of your choice (dates, figs, apricots, cranberries, etc.)
1 cup of nuts of your choice (cashews, almonds, walnuts, pecans, etc.)
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven at 180 C (325 F)
2. In a bowl, sift the flour and the baking powder
3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, the sugar and the salt
4. Incorporate the egg mix to the flour mix until
5. In a culinary robot, put the dried fruits and the nuts. Blend together but leave few chunks.
6. Add this mixture to the other and mix well
7. Pour the mix in a compound and bake for 20 to 25 minutes
8. Divide in 10 bars
